A Dragon Warrior Returns

To celebrate the 25 anniversary of Dragon Quest  Square Enix has produced a figure based off the Legendary Armor of  Loto from the first three Dragon Quest games.  This armored warrior comes equipped with his trusty sword, shield, and a removable helmet with a visor that can be lifted up or down. And for those of you who played this game in North America on the original NES you might recognize this as the Eldrick armor from the Dragon Warrior series.  you will want to start level grinding and killing those slimes now, cause this sucker cost close to $100 when it is released in February 2012.

The Ladies of Mortal Kombat

Coming from Syco Collectibles Enchanted Warriors line are the beautiful and deadly ladies of Mortal Kombat. Standing at 10″ tall these polystone statues bring Mileena, Kitana and Jade from Outworld into ours. They are priced at $129 each and will be released between January and April of 2012 and are available for preorder at Syco Collectibles, and Big Bad Toy Store. With plans to release Sindel, Skarlet and Sonya Blade , Mortal Kombat fans have a lot to look forward to.

Sailor Moon Vol 2

Sailor Moon Vol 2 and Codename Sailor V Vol 2 will be out in just a few weeks on November 15. If you preorder them from Amazon.com you can grab the books for 35% off their cover price at $6.58. That’s a great deal for these books, plus they are eligible for free shipping if you spend over $25.00. Vader On Ice

Kotobukiya next wave of Star Wars themed ice trays are available for preorder at Big Bad Toy Store. Their second batch contains molds of Darth Vader, Storm Troopers, the Millennium Falcon, and the X-Wing. Do not be fooled by the term ‘ice tray’ as theses silicon molds can be used in the oven and as candy molds. They have an estimated release date of May 2012 and are priced at $9.99 each.

A Killer Addition To Soulcalibur.

Soulcalibur 5 has just moved up to my must buy list with the addition of Assassins Creed’s Ezio Auditore. When the picture was first released I was a bit skeptical, but now here he is in a new trailer for Soulcaliber 5. He fits perfectly into this game and I can’t wait to try him out. Here’s hopingNamco has more surprises like this in store.

Mattel Toys has released a replica of the ghost trap used in the movie Ghostbusters.  They are sold out at their website, MattyCollector.com, but a quick search online will turn up other places selling it. It’s an awesome looking prop and the perfect gift for any Ghostbusters fan out there.
