To celebrate the 25 anniversary of Dragon Quest Square Enix has produced a figure based off the Legendary Armor of Loto from the first three Dragon Quest games. This armored warrior comes equipped with his trusty sword, shield, and a removable helmet with a visor that can be lifted up or down. And for those of you who played this game in North America on the original NES you might recognize this as the Eldrick armor from the Dragon Warrior series. you will want to start level grinding and killing those slimes now, cause this sucker cost close to $100 when it is released in February 2012.
This weeks spot light falls on Square Enix Action-RPG Nier. This game, released in April of 2010, received mixed reviews, and many people might of passed it up because of this. Which is a shame because it actually is a solid gaming experience with some great writing and music.
Now that the price of the game has dropped, down to $20 for a new copy and $10 for a used, I highly recommend picking it up. You can find it at Amazon.com, Gamefly and Gamespot for a reasonable price.
If you’re still unsure, check out Square Enix’s website for Nier, it’s got some trailer, pics and story info that might help you make your mind up.
With the release of Dragon Quest VI on February 14 I thought I’d showcase these DQ collectibles available at the Square Enix Shop. These soft vinyl toys range between 2″ to 5″ and are priced between $7.99-$16.99.
