Waiting for Pokemon
This was the scene outside my local Gamestop this morning as I waited in line to get the new Pokemon White game. I thought that at 9am on a Sunday morning there wouldn’t be a line, I was wrong. My favorite overheard conversation was a mother her phone with a friend saying “I’m waiting in a f***ing line for a video game.” 40 minutes later I had the prize in my hand!! I also learned a valuable lesson. Next time I’m having it shipped to my home.
Me and Zekrom
The Pokemon Tour made it’s stop near my home town so I made a thirty minute drive to check it out. The first thing I will tell you is that if you plan on going to one of these tours is that you need to be prepared to stand and wait. I spent most of my time in lines. There were lines to buy from the Pokemon Store, there were lines to get stamps for the stamp collection race, there were lines to spin the prize wheel. If you plan on seeing the movie I suggest you get there at least an hour before the mall opens. Tickets to the see the movie were gone in about an hour and that was with at least 6 screenings. The line for the prize wheel was so long I finally gave up. Continue Reading
