Soulcalibur 5 has just moved up to my must buy list with the addition of Assassins Creed’s Ezio Auditore. When the picture was first released I was a bit skeptical, but now here he is in a new trailer for Soulcaliber 5. He fits perfectly into this game and I can’t wait to try him out. Here’s hopingNamco has more surprises like this in store.
I got this game for Christmas and only played the single player mode, but a few days ago I finally got the guts to go online. I’ve got to say the multiplayer on this is amazing! I’ve only played Wanted mode so far but it is a blast. You are assigned a target (another player) to hunt down and assassinate while avoiding your own stalker who is trying to kill you. Starting at Level 1 sucks but it does not stop you from making kills, I’ve taking down people higher ranking than me with a little stealth and some luck.
As you progress in levels you can access to Abilities, Perks and Streak Bonuses. Abilities make it easier to escape and kill opponents with things like Smoke Bombs and a Hidden gun. Streak Bonuses kick in if you have made a certain number of kill or if you have been killed a certain number of times granting you a bonus to your score. I have yet to unlock a Perk so I’m still unsure what they do.This game has been out since November of 2010 and if you haven’t picked it up I recommend doing so. There is nothing more rewarding than hiding in a crowd and watching your stalker kill the wrong target or walking up to your target after they’ve just made a kill and taking them out. You can find the game online at Amazon.com or Gamestop and other electronics stores.
